OFCCP Launches Hotline for Combating Race and Sex Stereotyping

OFCCP Launches Hotline for Combating Race and Sex Stereotyping

Access to the hotline can be made by phone, email or via a complaint filed on the OFCCP’s website

The E.O. on Combating Race and Sex Stereotyping and Scapegoating, signed by President Trump on September 22, 2020, required the OFCCP to “establish a hotline and investigate complaints received under both this order as well as E.O. 11246.” Yesterday, OFCCP announced in its press release that the complaint hotline can be reached at 202-343-2008 or via email at ofccpcomplainthotline@dol.gov. Even though the E.O. is not effective until a new contract is entered into after November 21, 2020, the hotline is currently active.

OFCCP states that any training program that violates either this E.O. or E.O. 11246 is prohibited. Employees who believe that company training violates either of these executive orders may file a complaint on OFCCP’s website.

For more information about the E.O. see our previous blog - President Trump Signs E.O. on Combating Race and Sex Stereotyping and Scapegoating (September 25, 2020).
