Funding to address inequities for people with disabilities and ensure access to workforce services

The Department of Labor (DOL) has made available $8 million in funding over four years to manage the Leadership for the Employment and Economic Advancement of People with Disabilities Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act Policy Development Center (LEAD). The LEAD Center, administered by the Office of Disability Employment Policy, will ensure that people with disabilities, including historically underserved communities, have equal access to publicly funded workforce programs and services. It focuses on advancing economic self-sufficiency for people with disabilities by creating career pathways to integrated employment.

Application for funding opportunities is available until June 17, 2022.
