Final EEO-1 Compensation Reporting
The EEOC has received approval from the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) to add compensation information to the required EEO-1 report. Calling this change significant is an understatement now that contractors and non-contractors alike will be submitting compensation data for their entire company to the Department of Labor on an annual basis. This is drastically different than the current compliance requirement where the EEO-1 report only identifies headcount by EEO-1 category, while the OFCCP periodically reviews contractor compensation data through establishment reviews which equates to fewer than 5% of Federal contractors submitting compensation data annually.
