OFCCP posts Final Rule for Veterans and Individuals with a Disability in Federal Register.
As expected, the OFCCP has completed the new Final Rule for both the updated Veteran regulations under the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act (VEVRAA) and for Individuals with a Disability under Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act. This means that Federal contractors now have 180 days before they are required to implement the new regulations.
Note that Affirmative Action Plans created after the implementation date of Monday, March 24, 2014 (Officially, Sunday the 23rd) will be expected to be developed under the new regulations with all plans developed prior to be under the current regulations.
