The site to submit ideas, comments and vote on ideas submitted by other people is open now through October 1^st

The Department of Labor’s (DOL) Office of Disability Employment Policy, Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP), and the Women’s Bureau invite stakeholders to join in on a national online dialogue on “Advancing Worker Equity at the U.S. Department of Labor.

To support President Biden’s E.O. on Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Underserved Communities Through the Federal Government the DOL is hosting this dialogue. The feedback gathered will help guide potential policies and programs to advance worker equity for women, people of color, LGBTQ+ individuals, people with disabilities and other underrepresented communities.

The DOL is specifically looking for input to ensure that:

• Everyone has equal access to unemployment insurance (UI);
• Federal contractors and subcontractors doing business with the federal government do not discriminate against protected workers;
• DOL's Wage and Hour Division enforcement sufficiently captures wage-related issues for underrepresented groups; and
• DOL's outreach is reaching workers from underrepresented groups.
