OFCCP Contractor Portal will remain open through June 29th for contractors to certify their AAP compliance; failure to do so may lead to an upcoming audit.
As previously reported, the Office of Federal Contracts Compliance Programs (OFCCP) opened the Contractor Portal on March 31, 2023, with a closing date of June 29, 2023. Contractors must certify their AAP compliance annually through the portal between these dates. New federal contractors have 120 days to create their affirmative action plans (AAPs); however, must certify through the Contractor Portal within 90 days of setting up their compliance programs. A recorded webinar is available on the Contractor Portal website which provides instructions on submitting establishment or business unit AAP start date and certifying compliance.
As reported in our blog dated February 2nd, the most recent Corporate Scheduling Announcement Letter (CSAL) OFCCP selected federal contractors for upcoming compliance reviews who had failed to certify on the Contractor Portal.
To avoid additional OFCCP scrutiny, it is imperative that all federal contractors certify in the Contractor Portal that their affirmative action program is compliant.
