New Corporate Scheduling Announcement Letters (CSALs) Mailed by OFCCP

OFCCP national office mails letters dated February, 17, 2017

For the first time in almost three years, OFCCP has begun mailing out new Corporate Scheduling Announcement Letter (CSAL) to Federal Contractors nationwide. This “Courtesy Letter” is significant for many reasons because it means the OFCCP is gearing up to begin new audits and they are giving contractors advanced warning at a time when everyone is wondering about the direction of OFCCP. This letter signifies that it is business as usual and new audits are coming. In fact, in the past it was common for CSAL letters to be immediately followed by 30-day scheduling letters.

Once again the letter is being sent to the Human Resources Director at individual contractor establishments instead of being sent to the corporate office notifying them which establishments are being audited as the previous format used to provide.

The letters are dated February 17, 2017 and are arriving on contractors’ desks now. It is highly recommended that multi-establishment clients notify their individual establishments to be on the lookout for this letter.

Below is a link to read the Frequently Asked Questions section of the OFCCP website. This page includes instructions for requesting a list of establishments that are expected to be audited by OFCCP.
