Intel will pay $3.5 million in back pay and allocate 1.5 million in five year pay equity adjustments.
Intel Corp. voluntarily entered into an Early Resolution Agreement with OFCCP to resolve allegations of systemic pay discrimination against female, African American and Hispanic employees in facilities in Arizona, California and Oregon. Intel will pay $3,500,000 in back pay and interest and allocate at least $1,500,000 in pay-equity adjustments in the next five years for employees in engineering positions.
Intel will also regularly monitor pay practices at all facilities nationwide in exchange for five years free of a random OFCCP audit.
