Department of Labor Announces New Resource for Accessible Technology

Chris Lindholm

Contractors have access to organizations that provide technology to help make the workplace more accessible.

Like JAN and other websites, the Department of Labor provides excellent resources for employers to provide accessible workplace technologies that help workers adapt. See the latest posting from the EEOC below:

"The U.S. Department of Labor's Office of Disability Employment Policy announced in October the launch of www.peatworks.org - a comprehensive Web portal spearheaded by ODEP's Partnership on Employment & Accessible Technology. The website's content aims to help employers and the technology industry adopt accessible technology as part of everyday business practice so that all workers can benefit.

If you haven't already taken a look at the site, you may want to check it out.
