Deloitte Services LP will pay back pay and interest to 34 female employees
During a routine compliance review, OFCCP alleged that Deloitte Services LP discriminated by paying female employees in technology services in Hermitage, TN, less than their male counterparts. The agency also alleged that Deloitte failed to adequately evaluate female placement rates into certain positions within the Market Development function at its Atlanta location and the Workplace Services function at its Hermitage location.
Even though they denied the allegations, Deloitte Services LP agreed to pay $275,000 in back pay and interest to 34 female employees in technology services and will also ensure that its compensation policies and pay practices are free from discrimination. Additionally, they will train all managers, supervisors and officials who oversee pay decisions at the TN and GA locations.
