Comp 2 Help Desk taking questions but not responding YET
The EEO-1 Component 2 Help Desk became active on Monday June 17th. However, the Help Desk is simply taking questions but not immediately delivering responses. Their automated responses have indicated that FAQs and additional technical information is expected to become available on July 1st.
The EEOC has reported that the Computer-assisted Web Interview (CAWI) data collection instrument will become available on July 15, 2019. The NORC is continuing to draft data collection specifications and finalize the design for the CAWI. NORC is also working on a data file upload and validation function that will provide employers with the ability to upload their data files. The data file upload and validation function is expected to be available no later than August 15, 2019.
Employers are anxious to receive updated technical documentation to develop their systems and prepare their submissions. The information is expected to become available on the NORC’s website starting on July 1st. Notifications to employers will begin on Monday, July 1st via USPS mail and on Tuesday, July 2nd via email. These will be initial notifications that will be followed by further notifications with login details.
