Collins comes with over 20 years of OFCCP experience
The Office of Federal Contractor Programs (OFCCP) announced that as of June 10, 2021, Aida Collins will be the new OFCCP Southeast Regional Director. OFCCP holds those who do business with the federal government (contractors and subcontractors) responsible for complying with affirmative action requirements under Executive order 11246, as amended, VEVRAA, and Section 503.
Prior to this new position, Ms. Collins worked as the Deputy Regional Director for the Southwest and Rocky Mountain Region (SWARM) since 2015. Previously, she worked for the U.S. Census Bureau, the Department of the Army, and the Department of Labor.
Before joining the OFCCP, Ms. Collins worked as a claims examiner for two years at the Office of Workers’ Compensation Programs. At OFCCP, she started as an affirmative action compliance officer in the Dallas District Office and then became the Assistant District Director of the Houston District Office before becoming the Director of Regional Operations in the SWARM region. She started her career in public service in the U.S. Armed Forces.
Ms. Collins has a Bachelor’s degree from Dallas Baptist University and a Master’s degree from the University of Texas.
