Toni Ahl brings 30 years of experience as EEO Investigator

Toni was a big hit when she presented at the annual OutSolve Client Seminar in June and we look forward to giving our clients access to an experienced EEO Investigator and trainer.

Toni Ahl formed EEO Advantage LLC after retiring from the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) in 2015. She was a Senior Investigator with EEOC for over 30 years. She investigated charges of employment discrimination based on Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), the Equal Pay Act (EPA), the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, as amended, (ADA), the Genetic Information Non-Discrimination Act (GINA) and the Pregnancy Discrimination Act (PDA). During her tenure with EEOC, Toni conducted training for private employers and government entities. She investigated all types of illegal harassment including charges of sexual harassment. She taught and continues to teach the class for new Federal Investigators for EEOC including how to conduct an investigation and effective interviewing skills.
Since forming her own company, Toni has trained on various statutes that EEOC enforces. In many of the training sessions she conducts, Toni includes tips as to what needs to be documented and how the documentation should be done. She can review policies related to EEOC statutes for accuracy. Toni investigates complaints related to EEOC matters as well as any other types of complaints that have been alleged. She can conduct training on diversity and inclusion with some practices that can help to make all employees feel valued.
Toni has been a presenter for the Kentucky SHRM conference, Louisville SHRM, Bluegrass SHRM, the employment section of the Louisville Bar Association, the employment section of the Defense Research Institute, EEOC’s Technical Assistance Program Seminar (TAPS), and the National Business Institute (NBI). She is Vice President of the Board for the Center for Accessible Living, the Vice President of the Kentucky Industry Liaison Group (KYILG) and the Program Chair for Louisville SHRM. Toni is a facilitator for Restorative Justice Louisville. She has a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Louisville and completed a course in mediation at Sullivan University.
