Long time EEO advocate receives recognition at National ILG conference in Charlotte, NC
OutSolve would like to congratulate Beth Montgomery of Kindred Healthcare, who was awarded the 2016 Lois Baumerich Lifetime Achievement Award for her accomplishments in the Equal Opportunity field.
Montgomery was honored on Aug. 4 in front of the National Industry Liasion Group during the annual conference in Charlotte, N.C.
“We couldn’t be prouder of Beth for earning such a prestigious honor on such a large stage,” OutSolve principal Jeremy Mancheski said. “Beth’s tireless work in providing equal opportunity to Kindred’s employees and potential future employees has made it a standard-bearer in the federal contractor community.
“It’s wonderful to see her devotion gain such significant recognition and we applaud the NILG and voters for their decision.”
As a partner with OutSolve, Montgomery has helped make Kindred a universally respected organization for its work in the diversity and affirmative action industry. In particular, Montgomery’s work as a President of her Industry Liason Group is what makes her an “exemplary leader” according to the NILG.
She also participates as an annual panelist for an interview skills workshop for young people with disabilities, helping prepare individuals to enter the workforce, while also serving on the Business Advisory Council for the Center for Accessible Living.
Montgomery organizes activities such as a Job Shadowing Day to create opportunities for individuals with disabilities to live independently and organizes fundraisers for the Special Olympics, personally raising $24,000.
