John Fox defines the term “institutional knowledge”.
The partner of Fox, Wang and Morgan, P.C. has not only seen, but also touched, nearly every piece of legislation in the OFCCP’s history. And as the federal agency continues to grow to an unprecedented breadth, Fox’s connections and positioning inside the Affirmative Action community has paid dividends for those able to hear him and heed his advice.
Now, as an official partner with OutSolve, that perspective and expertise is being combined with tangible function.
OutSolve’s role as an Affirmative Action Plan provider and customer resource, combined with Fox’s extensive understanding of the evolving compliance landscape, allows that knowledge to be passed along to a wider swath of consumers as a proactive tool for practical implementation. And the foundation behind that institutional knowledge runs deep.
Fox’s origins in the industry begin by playing an instrumental role as an Executive Assistant to the Director of the OFCCP, where he was responsible for all enforcement and policy matters. There, he crafted regulatory guidelines for employment discrimination and maintained contacts with various federal agencies, including the United States Congress and The White House.
Following his stint inside the Department of Labor, Fox served as chair of the Employment and Labor group at multiple law firms before founding Fox, Wang and Morgan. Since then, he’s successfully represented corporations from Disney to American Airlines to Zilog, in high-profile, high-stakes cases.
With OutSolve in tow, his message can be heard at the ground floor of where compliance starts – at the creation of Affirmative Action Plans and the day-to-day strategies of human resource departments.
