KPMG Enters Into Conciliation Agreement with OFCCP to Resolve Allegations of Hiring Discrimination

KPMG agreed to pay $420,000 in back pay, interest and benefits

KPMG LLP has entered into a conciliation agreement with the Mountainside, NJ office of OFCCP to resolve allegations of hiring discrimination. During a routine compliance review, OFCCP found that from October 1, 2011 to March 31, 2013, auditing firm KPMG discriminated against 60 Asian applicants for associate audit positions at its Short Hills office.

As resolution, KPMG will pay 60 Asian applicants for associate audit positions a total of $420,000 in back pay, interest and benefits. Six affected applicants will also be provided associate audit positions as they become available.
